D. Williams client fashion designer Terri Stevens is featured on the newest Season of the popular reality show Project Runway, which premiered on July 16th on Bravo TV.
The breakout star is a freelance stylist and designer from Chicago and is a visual manager with Victoria Secrets and owner of her own fashion line called "Funkin Beautiful" and a classic line called "Michael Joseph" - Terri has an eclectic and funky style that compliments her own unique personality.

Democratic National Convention Nomination Celebration

Senators Emil Jones, James Clayborne and Mattie Hunter will host a Illinois Delegation Nomination Celebration on Wed. August 27th in Denver, CO. at the Denver City Center Hotel. The invitation only party will hosts hundreds of people who will celebrate the historic significance of the DNC and Barack Obama's Nomination Speech. Live entertainment will be provided by soulful singer, Terisa Griffin and will be hosted by well known MC's as well as a "Steppers Set.". A special invited guest is anticipated to attend.

The N'Digo Foundation Gala

The N'Digo Foundation Gala was recently held on June 21, 2008 at the beautiful and historic Lyric Opera House in Chicago. Hermene Hartman the publisher of N'Digo newspaper (one of the nation's largest African American newspapers) hosts this 13th Annual Gala. Over 1,200 guests, which consists of top executives, civic and religious leaders, celebrities and socialites attend the gala which starts off with a grande buffet in the foyer of the Opera House - this year the gala showcased "red apple lady" and ladies in large table skirts which held food and guests drinks. The N'Digo Foundation honors individuals who have made a significant contributions in their careers and awards scholarships to outstanding students in the Chicagoland area.

This year's gala honored Ald. Sandra Jackson, Carol H. Williams, Wanda Wells, Marilyn Stewart, Rev. Helen Carry and Lifetime Achievement awardee Ms. Eunice Johnson.This year's gala also award 23 merit-based scholarships. The program hosts were Hermene Hartman and Radio personality Doug Banks. Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr was the gala's chairman. Dionne Williams of D. Williams PR Group and Cong. Jesse Jackson, Jr. presented the 23 scholars who received a standing ovation from the audience for their achievements.
